Therm Solutions, Inc. is a carbon project developer focused on decarbonizing the global food supply chain. Founded in 2021 by CEO Fritz Troller and Vice President John Tinsley, the company develops and scales climate solutions by creating carbon credits that incentivize sustainable practices.

The company's business model centers on generating revenue through the sale of high-integrity carbon credits. It targets super pollutants—highly potent greenhouse gases like refrigerants and methane—which are prevalent in the food industry. Therm operates in voluntary, compliance, and Scope 3 insetting markets, serving clients such as grocers, convenience stores, cold storage facilities, and farmers. Their two main products are Refrigerant Carbon Credits™ (RCCs) and Food Waste Diversion Credits. The RCCs promote the adoption of climate-friendly refrigerants and have received high ratings from BeZero Carbon, including an 'AA' rating that places them in the top 2% of carbon projects globally. The Food Waste Diversion Credits program, listed on Verra's VCS Registry, incentivizes grocery retailers to send surplus edible food to donation centers instead of landfills, simultaneously addressing food insecurity and methane emissions. One such project involves over 1,300 retail locations and is expected to generate more than 112,000 metric tons of CO2 equivalent credits annually.

Therm began by focusing on cooling systems and has since expanded to address the entire food supply chain. The company has issued over 2 million Super Pollutant Carbon Credits across the United States, Canada, and Europe. It secured a $1.75 million seed round in 2021, followed by a $3.6 million Series A round in August 2025 from the same private investors to accelerate global expansion.
