TGCC
A national leader in industrial, public and building works
About TGCC
In 1991, at the age of 31, Mohammed Bouzoubaa founded Travaux Généraux de Construction de Casablanca, or TGCC, in Casablanca, Morocco. Starting in the garage of his home, the trained engineer set out to build a major player in the Moroccan construction and public works sector. The company took on projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. A key moment in TGCC's journey was its international expansion, which began in 2014. The company established subsidiaries and took on projects in several sub-Saharan African countries, including Gabon, Senegal, and Côte d'Ivoire. This strategic move broadened TGCC's footprint beyond its home market. Another significant milestone arrived in December 2021, when TGCC launched its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Casablanca Stock Exchange. The offering was substantially oversubscribed, signaling strong investor confidence and providing the company with capital to finance future growth. The IPO was a pivotal event, enabling a partial exit for early investors like Mediterrania Capital Partners and increasing the company's financial capabilities for further expansion.
