Teragonia Inc. is a strategy-led artificial intelligence company that provides decision intelligence solutions for the private equity sector. Founded in 2023 by Thomas Thayyil Thomas (CEO), Dr. Sai Mali Ananthanarayanan (Chief Data Scientist), and Weimen Li (CTO), the Chicago-based firm aims to enhance investment returns for financial sponsors and their portfolio companies. The founding team combines experience in M&A, data science, and technology from firms like Ernst & Young, Deloitte, and Booz Allen Hamilton.

The company's business model is centered on a Digital Capabilities as a Service (DCaaS) offering. This model provides private equity firms and founder-owned businesses with a managed, rapidly deployable technology infrastructure, saving clients the significant cost and effort of building in-house data science and AI teams. Teragonia's core offering is its Decision Intelligence Solution, which is built on three pillars: Business Operations Solutions, the Astradis analytics and AI platform, and Customer Success services. In March 2023, the company secured over $10 million in a seed funding round from private investors.
