About TBS Group
In 1989, three former soldiers in Vietnam, Nguyen Duc Thuan, Cao Thanh Bich, and Nguyen Thanh Son, left military life with a new mission: to build a business. Fueled by a desire to see their country prosper on the world stage, they started with a bold idea to create a leather footwear company. This was the humble beginning of TBS Group. Their initial venture was a small sewing factory and workshop. The early days were challenging, but the perseverance learned in the military provided a strong foundation. The pivotal moment arrived in September 1992 when they officially established their first footwear factory. This move set them on a path from a small local producer to a key player in the global supply chain. Over the next decades, TBS Group expanded its manufacturing prowess, forging partnerships with major international brands like Skechers, Decathlon, and Coach. The company diversified its portfolio significantly, branching out from footwear and handbags into logistics, hospitality, and investment management. This strategic expansion solidified its position as one of Vietnam's largest international manufacturers, proving that a small workshop could indeed grow into a giant.
