Established in 2022 by co-founders Metin Öngüç and Deniz Gül, Tamamlıyo is an Istanbul-based insurtech company operating in the embedded insurance and travel technology sectors. The firm specializes in integrating insurance products and ancillary services directly into the platforms of digital businesses, primarily targeting the travel and e-commerce markets. Its business model centers on providing a single API that allows digital enterprises to offer a range of products to their customers without needing to build their own payment infrastructure, thereby creating new revenue streams for its clients.

Tamamlıyo provides its B2B clients, such as travel websites and e-commerce platforms, with the capability to seamlessly embed various insurance and travel-related services. Through its API, partners can offer over 20 different insurance products and seven travel-specific services. These offerings include flight delay insurance, ticket cancellation protection, global car rental services, eSIMs, airport fast track and lounge access, and worldwide travel insurance. This model allows businesses to enhance their customer experience by providing relevant, point-of-sale protection and services. By the end of June 2024, the company had already integrated with over 40 travel applications and had delivered 1.25 million insurance quotes through its API infrastructure during the year.

The company has secured significant financial backing to fuel its growth. In March 2023, it raised 2.4 million TL through a crowdfunding campaign on the Fongogo platform. A more substantial investment round occurred in June 2025, led by Nexrone Global, where Tamamlıyo was valued at $4 million. This round also saw participation from notable angel investors and the co-founder of Fongogo. With this new capital, Tamamlıyo plans to expand its operations globally, with an initial focus on the Middle East and European markets. As part of its global expansion strategy, the company has announced it will operate under the brand name "komplet.io" for its international business.
