TaleMonster Games is an Istanbul-based mobile game development studio founded in February 2024 by a team of veterans from Peak Games. The co-founders include Irem Sumer (CEO), Simay Kahraman (Product Lead), Berk Yasar (Engineering Lead), Emre Yanik (Engineering Lead), and Eren Saricicek (Art Lead). The founding team shares a history of working together for several years at Peak Games, which was acquired by Zynga, contributing to their extensive experience in creating and scaling successful puzzle games.

The company was established to address a perceived gap in the casual mobile gaming market, which the founders felt had become too predictable and optimized. TaleMonster's mission is to develop casual puzzle games that offer more depth, challenge, and evolving gameplay to meet the expectations of more sophisticated modern players. The business operates in the global mobile gaming market, creating free-to-play games with a focus on long-term player retention and engagement rather than single hits. In May 2025, the company secured a $7 million seed funding round led by General Catalyst, with participation from a16z Speedrun, Arcadia, and Ludus Ventures, to accelerate development and expand its team.

Their debut title, "Match Valley," launched in September 2024, combines match-3 mechanics with other elements to provide a fresh experience. The game has demonstrated strong early engagement metrics, with players averaging 52 minutes of daily gameplay and exhibiting high retention rates. The studio's strategy involves building reusable technical systems to support smarter game design, personalized experiences, and efficient content delivery, enabling them to launch multiple titles over time.
