Supergate is a South Korean fabless semiconductor company founded in 2018 that specializes in custom System-on-Chip (SoC) design. The company provides tailored, high-performance, and low-power SoC solutions for the high-performance computing (HPC), automotive, and MCU sectors. Their business model involves close collaboration with clients from the initial design phase to deliver optimized solutions.

As an Arm Advanced Design Partner (AADP), Supergate has expertise in creating specialized semiconductor chips. The firm offers a comprehensive 'Solution SoC' framework, which includes advanced performance modeling, circuit design optimization, detailed specifications, RTL design, and board-level testing. They provide multifoundry options, allowing clients to select their preferred manufacturing processes. Supergate has been recognized by the South Korean government as a 'Global Star Fabless' company.

In addition to its core semiconductor business, Supergate is expanding its capabilities in software development, particularly in Vision AI. The company develops AI solutions for industrial safety and security, such as systems that detect personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, falls, and unauthorized access in construction sites. These AI-powered video surveillance systems are designed to operate on-site without needing external servers, analyzing video feeds in real-time to provide immediate alerts. One of their projects, an action camera for construction safety utilizing AI semiconductor technology, was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Land and Housing Corporation.

The company has secured significant funding, including a 3.5 billion won Series A round and a 13 billion won Series B round in 2023 from investors such as IBK Financial Group and KB Securities.
