STS Digital is a principal trading firm specializing in digital asset options and institutional market access. The company is headquartered in Bermuda and regulated by the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), with a Swiss entity, STS Digital AG, focused on developing institutional-grade portfolio, risk management, and trade execution software. The firm was co-founded by Gideon Hyams (Chairman) and Maxime Seiler (CEO), who bring extensive experience from traditional derivatives markets. STS Digital grew out of a group structure that started in 2021, with the operating trading entity, STS Digital Ltd, being founded in Bermuda in 2022.

The firm serves institutional clients such as banks, asset managers, and financial intermediaries by providing over-the-counter (OTC) spot and derivatives trading, market-making, and structured products. Clients can trade over 400 tokens through a unified platform accessible via UI, API, and voice. The business model centers on acting as a principal dealer and liquidity provider, pricing requests from clients and managing the resulting risk. Services include institutional-grade pricing and liquidity, an electronic RFQ engine with sub-second response times, and real-time trade booking with post-trade workflows.

A significant milestone was the acquisition of Swiss digital asset market maker flovtec in 2024, which expanded STS Digital's market-making capabilities and European presence. In February 2026, the company secured $30 million in a strategic funding round led by CMT Digital, with participation from Payward (parent company of Kraken), Arrington Capital, and others. This capital is intended to accelerate platform growth, deepen market-making services, and strengthen its balance sheet. In January 2026, STS Digital joined BitGo's Go Network, enabling clients to trade while keeping assets in segregated, insured custody.
