The company's business model is structured around four main pillars: stane ingénierie (engineering), stane invest (investment), stane services, and stane lab. This structure allows them to offer end-to-end support for healthcare facilities, from territorial audits and financial planning to construction and operational management. Revenue is generated by providing these specialized services to a diverse client base that includes healthcare professionals, local authorities, private real estate developers, and health-tech startups. A key part of their offering is alleviating the administrative and regulatory burdens associated with establishing and running both healthcare facilities and clinical trials.

Stane's primary service is facilitating decentralized clinical trials by connecting study sponsors—such as pharmaceutical labs, public institutions, and health project leaders—with its extensive network. This network comprises over 3,000 affiliated healthcare professionals and more than 1,000 active investigators across 150+ care facilities. This approach aims to make clinical research more representative of the general population by moving it out of hospitals, where 95% of research is traditionally concentrated, and into the community practices where patients receive daily care. To support this, Stane has developed staneResearch, a digital platform, and staneEDS, a secure health data warehouse validated by the French data protection authority (CNIL). These tools connect study promoters with investigators and streamline the entire research process.
