Standard Template Labs (STLabs) is a U.S.-based enterprise software startup developing AI-driven tools to automate internal IT operations within large organizations. Founded by Amit Agarwal, former President of Datadog, the company focuses on improving how enterprises manage complex IT service workflows, including ticket resolution, system access, and application authorization.

Emerging from stealth, STLabs is building software designed to replace or augment traditional IT service management processes, which are often labor-intensive and reliant on large internal teams. Its approach centers on applying artificial intelligence to streamline repetitive operational tasks, with the goal of increasing efficiency, reducing response times, and lowering the cost of maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure.

Unlike startups targeting small and medium-sized businesses, STLabs is specifically focused on large enterprises with established in-house IT departments. The company aims to integrate into existing corporate systems and workflows, offering tools that can operate at scale across complex organizational environments.

STLabs has raised $49 million in a seed funding round, an unusually large early-stage investment, valuing the company at approximately $300 million. The round was co-led by Iconiq and CRV, both of which have prior ties to Datadog. The funding will support product development as the company seeks to establish a new category of AI-powered IT operations software tailored to large enterprises.
