Spotwave Wireless, founded in 2000, was a provider of carrier-approved indoor wireless coverage solutions for enterprises, consumers, and wireless carriers. The company developed products to address the issue of poor indoor cell phone reception, where building materials can block outdoor signals.

The company's main product line was the SpotCell® family of indoor coverage systems, which were designed to bring outdoor signals inside, ensuring reliable wireless device operation. These systems used smart antenna technology and adaptive algorithms to provide targeted, maintenance-free coverage for spaces ranging from 2,500 to 100,000 square feet. The products supported various technologies, including GSM, CDMA, 3G, and were approved for use by major carriers in North America. One of its notable products was the SpotCell 2500Xe, a high-performance repeater antenna system designed to boost signals for cell phones, PDAs, and 3G laptop air cards in locations up to 50,000 sq ft.

Spotwave Wireless was a venture-capital-backed company, having raised $31.5M from investors including GrowthWorks, Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, and Newbury Ventures. In January 2008, the company was acquired by Kavveri Defence & Wireless Technologies.
