About Spoor
Spoor is an Oslo biodiversity technology company founded in 2020 by CEO Ask Helseth and CTO Helge Reikerås that helps wind developers monitor and protect birds and bats. Its computer-vision software works with off-the-shelf cameras to detect, classify and track wildlife at long range before and after construction, and can integrate with wind-farm control systems for continuous monitoring and shutdown-on-demand mitigation. Press cites a database of more than one million bird observations and customers including Ørsted, RWE, Vattenfall, TotalEnergies, Equinor, GE and Fugro. In December 2025 Spoor raised an €8 million Series A led by SET Ventures with EnBW New Ventures, Ørsted Ventures and Superorganism to expand globally, hire and deepen control-system integrations.
