About Spark Cleantech

Spark Cleantech is a Paris industrial ClimateTech company founded in 2022 by Erwan Pannier and Patrick Peters as a CentraleSupélec spin-off. Its pulsed-plasmolysis modules sit between a site's gas network and high-temperature burners, splitting methane without combustion into hydrogen for on-site heat and solid carbon for materials such as polymers and batteries. The approach is designed to decarbonise existing glass, metallurgy, polymer and battery operations with limited infrastructure changes while avoiding hydrogen transport and large-scale storage. In December 2025 Spark announced a €30 million Series A package including €17 million in equity, led by 360 Capital and Taranis with the Île-de-France Reindustrialisation Fund and Asterion Ventures.
