Kuruvilla, a technology entrepreneur and AI commerce specialist, previously served as CEO of the one-click checkout platform Bolt and spent eight years at Amazon as Vice President of Engineering, leading the development of large-scale AI systems and global Prime fulfillment technologies. Wang was formerly the CTO at Saks OFF 5th and also spent nearly twelve years at Amazon.

The company's core offering addresses the disconnect between targeted marketing and generic online shopping experiences. Its platform uses agentic AI and a proprietary large product model called ProductGPT to deliver self-optimizing, contextually relevant shopping journeys that adapt in real-time to consumer engagement. This system decodes context, consumer interactions, and merchant data to autonomously enhance revenue per visit, bridging the gap between marketing and e-commerce. Spangle emerged from stealth in March 2025, securing $6 million in a seed funding round led by Madrona Ventures and Streamlined Ventures. Controlled A/B tests with multiple clients have shown significant results, including a 51% increase in conversion rates, a 46% rise in engagement, and a 2x improvement in Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
