Beijing Space Trek Technology Co., Ltd. (Space Trek) is a private Chinese aerospace company established in 2015, focusing on the research, development, and production of space launch vehicles and defense products. The company was founded by four retired military veterans with extensive experience in China's state aerospace sector, led by Chairman and CEO Liang Jianjun. Their shared background and passion for aerospace led them to establish Space Trek, aiming to leverage their expertise in a commercial capacity following the opening of China's space sector to private investment.

Space Trek operates on a dual-track business model, developing products for both commercial and military applications. Its main business lines include providing launch services with its proprietary rockets, developing defense products like target missiles, and offering technical consulting services. The company's product portfolio includes the "Discovery" and "Star Way" series of launch vehicles and the "Changfeng" series of target missiles. A key milestone was the successful maiden flight of its "Discovery 1" suborbital launch vehicle from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in December 2019. This was followed by the first successful flight of the D140 supersonic cruise target missile in January 2021.

The firm serves clients in the aerospace and defense sectors. Revenue is generated through launch contracts, sales of defense hardware, and technical service fees. The company has successfully raised capital through multiple funding rounds, including a Series A, to finance the development of liquid-fueled launch vehicles and expand its industrial and technical capabilities. Space Trek's core technical team is composed of specialists from China's state-owned aerospace and defense corporations, providing a strong foundation in guidance, control, structural design, and simulation. Headquartered in Beijing, the company has established research and development centers and a rocket assembly base across China.
