This service, termed "Microgravity-as-a-Service," caters to industries such as semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and advanced materials by offering on-demand, in-space production. The company's business model is centered on providing access to its ForgeStar platform for other organizations to conduct research and manufacturing, thereby lowering the barrier to entry for leveraging the space environment. By manufacturing materials like purer crystals and unique alloys in space, Space Forge aims to revolutionize terrestrial industries, including renewable energy, transportation, and computing.
