About SimuTech Group

SimuTech Group, Inc. is the largest Ansys channel partner in North America, providing engineering simulation software, consulting, training, and physical testing services. Headquartered in Rochester, New York, the company traces its origins to STI Technologies, a mechanical engineering consulting firm founded in 1979 that specialized in turbomachinery failure analysis and finite element analysis. In 2000, Ken Lally acquired STI Technologies and began consolidating several regional Ansys resellers across the U.S. and Canada. By 2008, these operations merged under the SimuTech Group brand, which legally operates as a DBA of STI Technologies, Inc. SimuTech Group serves over 6,000 engineering teams across aerospace, defense, automotive, energy, healthcare, electronics, and manufacturing industries. Its core offerings include sales and support of the full Ansys simulation software portfolio—covering structural analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), electromagnetics, photonics, semiconductors, and multiphysics—as well as engineering consulting, custom workflow automation, Ansys training courses, mentoring, and mechanical testing services such as blade frequency and modal vibration testing. The company holds Ansys Elite Channel Partner status, the highest level of partner recognition. Through a series of acquisitions—including JLR Engineering Solutions (Seattle), Ohio Computer Aided Engineering (Cleveland), Advanced Engineering Technologies (Atlanta), ROI Engineering (Toronto/Montreal), Belcan's software distribution unit (Chicago, 2008), Turbine Test Services (2017), and Boston Engineering's software distribution unit (2023)—SimuTech grew from a single Rochester office to a multi-office North American operation with over 140 employees. In September 2025, the company merged with Silicon Valley-based Ozen Engineering, bringing the combined workforce to over 200 professionals and adding depth in electromagnetics, semiconductor simulation, and the California market. Full brand unification under the SimuTech Group name is planned for early 2026. engineering simulation, Ansys, finite element analysis, FEA, computational fluid dynamics, CFD, electromagnetics, multiphysics, structural analysis, turbomachinery, product development, consulting, training, physical testing, Rochester NY
