About SiFly
SiFly (SiFly Aviation) is a Santa Clara company building long-endurance, U.S.-made electric multirotor drones that aim to deliver helicopter-like coverage at drone economics for public safety, critical-infrastructure inspection, agriculture and enterprise operations. Founded by CEO Brian Hinman, its flagship Q12 is designed for VTOL agility with fixed-wing-like efficiency: SiFly says it flies about four to five times longer and up to ten times farther than leading enterprise drones while carrying payloads up to 10 pounds, and holds a Guinness World Record for the longest flight by an electric multirotor in its weight class (3 hours, 11 minutes, 54 seconds). The company is also developing DronePort multi-drone infrastructure for persistent coverage such as drone-as-first-responder. In August 2026 SiFly raised a $20 million Series A led by Shield Capital, with Qudit, BBK Capital and Alumni Ventures among participants, to scale U.S. manufacturing, fulfill customer backlog and advance DronePort field validation.
