Jiangsu Afilm Semiconductor Technology Co. Ltd., also known as Shouxin Semiconductor Technology and operating under the brand Afilm, is a supplier of advanced film deposition equipment and solutions for the semiconductor and pan-semiconductor industries. The company was founded in February 2023.
Afilm specializes in equipment for various thin-film deposition processes, including Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD). One of its self-developed products is the AFDubhe-P12, a 12-inch PECVD system. This system is capable of producing PE-TEOS oxide, PE-SiH4 oxide, and PE-SiN films and can be utilized for chip manufacturing up to the 28nm tech-node, as well as for advanced packaging and Micro LED manufacturing. By April 2024, the company announced the design completion for this system.
The technical team consists of PhDs who have returned from overseas and technical experts from mainland China and Taiwan with extensive experience at foreign companies. Afilm has a headquarters in Jiangsu and a branch in Shanghai. The company has filed for 48 patents and 40 trademarks, with 24 patents and 16 trademarks and copyrights allowed. In April 2024, Afilm announced the completion of an equity financing round totaling more than 100 million yuan.
