Founded in 2015 by Julia Magnusson, Tilda Olsson, and Jessica Jonson, the company aimed to transform the networking experience at events. The application was designed to serve event organizers by providing their attendees with a dedicated tool for purpose-driven and interest-based networking.

In late 2016, the company secured SEK 2 million in a seed funding round from the venture capital firm Wellstreet. This investment was intended to finance the final development stages and the subsequent launch of the app, which was anticipated in early 2017. The business model was centered on offering a networking solution for the event industry, likely monetized through fees charged to event organizers who would integrate the app into their events. The service was positioned as a social digital venue where users could strategically expand their professional circles.

However, public records indicate that Sevn AB later ceased operations. The company, identified by the Swedish organization number 559039-0869, was declared bankrupt, with a termination notice published on August 6, 2025.
