About Scento

Scento is a European online perfume retailer headquartered in Paris, France, founded in 2024 by Sebastian Dobrincu. It sells authentic designer and niche perfume decants, hand-poured from original bottles, together with full bottles of selected perfumes, delivered to customers across Europe. It offers more than 1,000 perfumes from about 200 designer and niche perfume houses, so shoppers can try a fragrance for a fraction of the full-bottle price before they commit. Scento sells more than 3 million perfume decants a year, one every 10 seconds. Scento also publishes the Scento Fragrance Index, a quarterly report on which perfumes Europeans actually buy, built from its own order data, and offers the Scento Perfume API for developers. Its annual revenue is €30–35 million (online and offline sales combined, 2026).
