SafeHouse Technologies is an Indo-Israeli cybersecurity firm established in 2016 with a clear mission to provide digital security to individual consumers. The company was founded by Aditya Narang, Liad Herman, and Miri Yudovich. Narang, the Chief Business Officer, comes from a family of entrepreneurs and previously worked as a cyber defense consultant in Tel Aviv after experiences at KPMG and Tom Ford. This background in cybersecurity consulting provided the foundational knowledge for SafeHouse. The founders were recognized in Entrepreneur India's "35 Under 35" list in 2023.

The company operates in the personal cybersecurity market, targeting everyday internet users. Its business model centers on a subscription-based service for its flagship application, BodyGuard. This app, launched in 2019, is designed to be a simple, one-click solution for securing mobile devices. Revenue is generated from yearly subscriptions, with different pricing tiers available for basic and premium versions that offer access to global servers. The company has demonstrated significant market traction, particularly in India, where it has built a distribution network of 5,000 outlets across 700 cities and served over 2.5 million users by the end of 2022.

SafeHouse's core product, BodyGuard, utilizes a cloud-based platform with artificial intelligence to protect smartphones and other internet-connected devices from a variety of online threats. The technology functions by filtering a user's internet traffic through its cloud, where it employs signature detection and AI to identify and block cyber threats in real-time, including phishing, malware, and ransomware. This process is executed through a Peer-to-Peer encrypted VPN connection, aiming to secure user data and online transactions. To date, the company has raised a total of $9 million through multiple funding rounds, including a $6 million Pre-Series A round in December 2022. These funds are allocated for research and development and to fuel expansion into European and Southeast Asian markets.
