About RobCo

RobCo is a Munich industrial-robotics company founded in 2020 by CEO Roman Hölzl that builds an Autonomous Manufacturing Platform combining modular robot hardware with a physical-AI software stack for machine tending, palletizing, dispensing, welding and related factory workflows. Vertically integrated from day one, its robots learn task-specific skills via demonstration and self-learning rather than heavy manual programming, and are delivered through a robotics-as-a-service model to manufacturers from SMBs to enterprises such as BMW, with US hubs in San Francisco and Austin. In January 2026 RobCo raised a $100 million Series C co-led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Lingotto Innovation, with Sequoia Capital, Greenfield Partners, Kindred Capital, Leitmotif and The Friedkin Group, at a valuation above $500 million, to advance physical AI, scale enterprise deployments and deepen its US presence.
