Resonai, founded in 2014 by CEO Emil Alon, is a Tel Aviv-based company focused on transforming physical spaces into intelligent digital environments. Alon, a serial entrepreneur with a background in physics and brain research, previously founded and sold Pebbles Interfaces, a gesture control company, to Facebook. This experience led him to recognize the convergence of physical and digital realities, inspiring the creation of Resonai to develop a unified platform for spatial computing.

The company's core offering is Vera, an enterprise-grade platform that functions as an operating system for the built world. By employing advanced computer vision and artificial intelligence, Vera creates highly accurate, intelligent 3D digital twins of commercial buildings. This digital replica serves as a foundational infrastructure, enabling the integration of technologies like IoT, AI, and augmented reality. The platform is designed to be hardware-agnostic, running on standard iOS and Android devices without requiring additional equipment. Resonai operates on a SaaS business model, allowing clients to test the platform before a wider rollout.

Resonai serves property owners and operators across various commercial real estate sectors, including retail, malls, offices, hospitality, and entertainment venues. Clients can use Vera to enhance operational efficiency and unlock new revenue streams. For facility management, the platform offers applications for smart maintenance, automating repair processes, and simplifying IoT device management. One client, the Moscow Trade Center, reported a 44% decrease in repair times by using Vera's smart ticketing and navigation features. For consumers and tenants, Vera enables engaging AR experiences such as digital concierge services with indoor navigation and personalized, context-aware content delivered to mobile devices. These applications can create new media opportunities and drive customer engagement. The company has established partnerships with major construction and real estate firms globally, including Kajima Construction, Takenaka Construction, and GOLDBECK Construction.

Financially, Resonai has secured a total of $43 million in funding. Its Series A round, culminating in an extension in October 2022, reached $36 million and was led by investors such as Meitav-Dash, Blue Square Israel, and Irani Ventures. These funds are allocated to the continued development of the Vera platform and expansion into markets across the U.S., Asia, and Europe.
