We are building the True Delta-Neutral stablecoin architecture
About Resolv Labs
Resolv Labs, founded in 2023 by Ivan Kozlov, Fedor Chmilev, and Tim Shekikhachev, is a decentralized finance (DeFi) company headquartered in Abu Dhabi. The founding team's background in traditional finance and technology, with Chmilev having previous experience at Revolut, shaped the company's direction. The concept for Resolv Labs originated in April 2023 with the goal of creating a sustainable and transparent stablecoin architecture, leading to its development within the Delphi Labs accelerator.
The company operates in the cryptocurrency market, offering financial instruments to risk-conscious crypto holders. Its business model centers on the Resolv Protocol, a system designed to provide yield-bearing stablecoins. The protocol launched publicly in September 2024 and has since expanded to operate on multiple blockchain networks, including Ethereum, Base, and BNB Chain. Revenue is generated from a share of the investment yields produced by the protocol's backing assets.
Resolv Labs' core offering is a dual-token system featuring the USR stablecoin and the Resolv Liquidity Provider (RLP) token. USR is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, designed to provide stable, low-risk returns. Its stability is maintained through a delta-neutral hedging strategy, where the protocol holds long positions in assets like Ethereum and Bitcoin while simultaneously shorting perpetual futures to offset price volatility. This mechanism allows USR to generate yield from ETH staking and futures funding rates without relying on traditional, real-world assets. The RLP token represents a higher-risk tier, functioning as an "insurance" layer that absorbs potential losses in exchange for variable, and potentially higher, returns. This two-tiered structure is inspired by structured products in traditional finance. The protocol has garnered significant traction, reaching a peak of over $600 million in total value locked (TVL) after its launch. In April 2025, Resolv Labs secured $10 million in a seed funding round led by Cyber.Fund and Maven11, with participation from notable investors like Coinbase Ventures and Animoca Ventures, to further expand its yield strategies and institutional partnerships.
