Resect AI is an artificial intelligence company headquartered in Washougal, Washington, that builds an accountability layer for large language models. Its in-stream technology observes and can modify model behaviour during inference, detecting fabrications before they reach users while generating audit trails for enterprise compliance. The NeuroWave product suite covers AI interpretability, governance, observability, audit and agentic accountability, with vLLM integration that taps the inference endpoint to detect and mitigate hallucinations. The company also releases open-source tooling, including Veritas fact-checking models on Hugging Face. Resect was founded by Kevin Owens, Tim Walton, Tyler Gerber and Tommy Lofgren, and emerged from stealth in September 2026 backed by $25 million from private-equity investors to serve enterprises in finance, healthcare, publishing, research and education.
