About Renasens AB
Renasens is a Stockholm deep-tech company developing waterless textile recycling that uses modified supercritical CO₂ to separate and decolour blended post-consumer textiles, recovering intact cotton and polyester fibres without toxic chemicals so manufacturers can reintroduce materials into existing lines. Founded by Dr Jade Bouledjouidja (CEO), Renasens targets Europe’s more than 12 million tonnes of annual textile waste—of which less than 1% is recycled into new fibres—with a modular platform designed for fragmented supply chains, and has begun supplying recovered fibres to manufacturers in Portugal and Italy. In March 2026 Renasens raised €10 million in Seed funding led by Extantia, with Course Corrected VC and continued backing from Norrsken Launcher, to build a pilot plant in Borås, Sweden, and scale fibre-to-fibre supply into European manufacturing as EU mandatory collection and extended producer responsibility rules tighten.
