RedSiren, a privately held cybersecurity firm, was founded in 2000 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The company established itself by providing managed security for the computer and voice-over-Internet-protocol (VoIP) networks for business clients. The service portfolio included security consulting, educational services, and managing network reliability and security for both data and emerging internet telephone services.

Under the leadership of CEO Doug Goodall, RedSiren expanded its operations globally, employing 86 people in various locations. The firm was also known for operating the International Information Integrity Institute, an organization with over 65 Chief Security Officer members from Global 500 companies and research institutes. This initiative underscored its commitment to high-level security discourse and practice.

In March 2005, RedSiren was acquired by Getronics, a multinational IT services company based in Amsterdam. The acquisition was a strategic move for Getronics to integrate RedSiren's specialized security services, consultancy practice, and educational offerings into its own portfolio. Following the acquisition, RedSiren's CEO, Doug Goodall, transitioned to the role of vice president of the newly formed Getronics RedSiren Security Solutions, continuing his work with the Pittsburgh-based team.
