The company's core offering is a suite of APIs and tools that allow businesses to embed services such as digital wallets, credit, payments, and rewards. Railsr has undergone significant transformations, including a major rebranding from Railsbank to Railsr in 2022 to reflect its broader vision of providing a single platform for financial 'rails'. The company has secured substantial funding throughout its history, including a $70 million round in 2021. However, it faced considerable challenges, leading to a sale of its assets and business to a consortium called Embedded Finance Limited (EFL) in March 2023.
