QuantX Biosciences is a pharmaceutical company focused on creating oral small-molecule medicines for immune-mediated and inflammatory diseases through its computationally driven drug discovery platform.

The company was co-founded in 2022 by veteran drug hunters Wayne Tang, Ph.D., and Yax Sun, Ph.D. Initially incubated by OrbiMed and Creacion Ventures, QuantX has raised $130 million to date, including an $85 million Series B financing in February 2026. The current CEO is Stuart Chaffee, who brings over two decades of experience in the biotechnology industry.

QuantX's business model centers on developing a pipeline of drug candidates and advancing them toward clinical trials. Its proprietary platform integrates physics-based modeling, statistical methods, computational chemistry, and high-performance computing to accelerate the design and optimization of drug candidates for clinically validated targets. This approach aims to improve the efficiency and success rate of drug discovery.

The company's pipeline includes oral small molecule inhibitors targeting conditions like asthma, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Its lead programs are a STAT6 inhibitor, expected to enter human trials by late 2026 for asthma and atopic dermatitis, and an IL-17 inhibitor for psoriasis, planned for Phase 1 trials in early 2027. By developing oral therapies, QuantX aims to offer advantages in administration and convenience over existing injectable biologics.
