About Quanscient

Quanscient is a Tampere-based multiphysics simulation company founded in 2021 by Juha Riippi, Alexandre Halbach, Asser Lähdemäki and Valtteri Lahtinen (Andrew Tweedie joined as fifth founder in 2024). Its cloud-native platform makes physics simulation code-driven and cloud-scalable so engineers can run high-throughput multiphysics digital prototypes for energy, aerospace, automotive and related industries, with research also advancing quantum algorithms for partial differential equations. The company reports simulations up to 100× faster than legacy tools and serves industrial customers including Fortune 100 firms across Europe, North America and Japan. In May 2026 Quanscient raised a €10 million Series A led by Danish quantum fund 55 North and Austrian industrial investor B&C Group, with returning Maki.vc, Crowberry Capital, QAI Ventures and First Fellow Partners, to accelerate international expansion and unify simulation, quantum algorithms and AI.
