About Qccr

Qccr (汽车超人), which translates to 'Car Superman', is an online-to-offline (O2O) platform for the automotive aftermarket in China.

The platform is a subsidiary of Zhejiang Jingu Co., Ltd. (金固股份), a publicly-traded company specializing in the manufacturing of steel wheels, recognized as a leader in its sector by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers. Qccr was developed to address the growing need for post-sale automotive services as China's car market matured. In April 2017, its parent company, Jingu Co., Ltd., raised approximately 2.7 billion RMB through a private placement to fund the construction and expansion of the Qccr project. Strategic investors included an industrial fund backed by BAIC Group, one of China's largest automakers. By this time, the Qccr app had already surpassed 10 million users.

Qccr's business model integrates online customer acquisition with a network of physical service locations. The platform aims to standardize services and pricing in the fragmented auto repair and maintenance market. It connects car owners with a wide range of services, including maintenance, repairs, tire changes, and cosmetic services. The company has focused heavily on building its infrastructure, including warehousing, logistics, and supply chain management. It developed proprietary Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to manage inventory and distribution efficiently. For its service partners, Qccr provides a "Smart Store" system (TSCE), which combines software and hardware to digitize and automate store operations, aiming to increase efficiency and profitability by reducing reliance on individual staff expertise. The company's strategy also involved strategic investments and partnerships with regional auto service chains to rapidly expand its physical footprint and integrate its smart store systems.
