Puzzle AI is a South Korean medical artificial intelligence company that develops solutions for clinical documentation. Founded in 2018 by nine medical professionals and KAIST students, the company aims to alleviate the documentation burdens faced by clinicians. Yong-Sik Kim was later appointed CEO in 2022.

The company's core technology utilizes proprietary AI voice recognition and generative AI to create more efficient and accurate medical records. Its flagship product, "VoiceENR," is an AI-powered speech recognition system for Electronic Medical Records (EMR) that allows physicians and nurses to document patient information using voice commands. This system was first deployed across all clinical departments of a major university hospital in South Korea. Puzzle AI also offers "VoiceMARK," a tool for medical image annotations, and has developed a generative medical-record system.

Puzzle AI operates in the HealthTech and AI/Machine Learning sectors, serving top-tier tertiary hospitals in South Korea, with usage reported in over 75% of these institutions. The business model is venture capital-backed, and it generates revenue through active licenses for its software, with over 750 physician and 2,250 nurse licenses currently active. In September 2022, Puzzle AI acquired the medical AI voice technology business from Vuno Inc. The company has raised a total of $2.83M through multiple funding rounds, including a Series C round in September 2023. Key investors include Korea Investment Partners, Nvestor, and Tech Incubator Program for Startup.
