Pursuit offers an AI-powered procurement intelligence platform designed to help businesses find and win government contracts, primarily within the US State, Local, and Education (SLED) markets. Key features include identifying incumbent vendors, contract values, expiration dates, and providing AI-verified contact information for officials within agency hierarchies. Pursuit also generates AI-powered outreach drafts and talking points tailored to specific agency needs. The system integrates with major CRM and sales engagement platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Marketo, allowing for seamless workflow automation and data enrichment.

Pursuit was founded in 2023 by Mike Vichich and Brandon Max. Vichich, who serves as CEO, comes from a family with a background in public service and previously founded a consumer company that was acquired by Olo in 2021. This experience, combined with Max's role as a founding engineer at Vichich's prior startup, led them to address the complexities of government sales. The company operates on a subscription-based business model with user-based and consumption-based pricing tiers, as well as a transactional option for qualified deal handoffs. In July 2024, Pursuit secured a $3.5 million seed funding round, bringing its total funding to $25.5 million with backing from investors such as Bill Gurley and Jack Altman.
