Pleo World offers the Pleo, an animatronic pet dinosaur toy designed to simulate the appearance and behavior of a week-old Camarasaurus. The product is an autonomous robotic life form that learns from its environment and experiences through artificial intelligence to develop an individual personality. Pleo was created by Caleb Chung, a co-creator of the Furby, and was first unveiled in February 2006.

The original developer, Ugobe, filed for bankruptcy in April 2009. In June 2009, Jetta, the original manufacturer, announced it was relaunching the product, and its ownership was transferred to Innvo Labs Corporations, a division of Jetta. Innvo Labs, based in Hong Kong and Nevada, is now responsible for research and development, hardware/software updates, and worldwide promotion. The second generation, Pleo rb (Pleo reborn), was launched in December 2011, featuring an updated Life OS that allows it to act independently and evolve its personality based on user interaction.

Pleo is equipped with a sophisticated sensory system including a color camera, sound and infrared sensors, touch sensors, and over 100 custom gears and 14 motors for movement. It progresses through life stages, from a hatchling to maturity, with its behavior and personality shaped by how it is treated. The business operates an e-commerce website, PleoWorld.com, which serves as a platform for sales, customer forums, and software updates. The company has focused on creating an automated end-to-end process from order acceptance to shipment to serve its international customer base efficiently.
