PFASuiki
Develops modular electrochemical reactors that permanently destroy PFAS contaminants in industrial and environmental water streams
About PFASuiki
PFASuiki, formerly known as SUIKI, is a deep-tech company based in Munich, Germany, focused on eliminating per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from contaminated water through advanced electrochemical oxidation technology. The company addresses a growing global challenge: the presence of persistent PFAS chemicals in industrial wastewater, landfill leachate, and firefighting runoff. These substances, often referred to as "forever chemicals," are resistant to natural degradation and have been linked to significant environmental and health concerns.

To combat this issue, PFASuiki has developed a modular reactor platform called AquaHive, engineered to destroy PFAS molecules at a molecular level. Unlike traditional treatment methods that merely capture or concentrate these contaminants using activated carbon or ion exchange, Suiki’s system applies electrochemical oxidation to permanently degrade long-chain PFAS compounds. The AquaHive reactor is capable of achieving over 99% PFAS destruction within 90 minutes, with a typical energy footprint around 30 kWh per cubic meter of water. This approach reduces the formation of secondary waste and limits the need for hazardous material disposal.
The system is designed for seamless integration into existing industrial and municipal water-treatment infrastructure. Its modular architecture allows for flexible scaling, from pilot operations to full-scale deployments. Industries that generate PFAS-laden wastewater—such as chemical manufacturing, aerospace, textiles, and firefighting—are among the company’s primary target customers. PFASuiki is also engaging with regulatory stakeholders and municipalities preparing for stricter environmental standards, particularly in regions where PFAS regulations are tightening.
The company’s multidisciplinary team brings together expertise in chemical engineering, environmental science, water process design, and data-driven performance monitoring. In addition to its technical innovation, PFASuiki places strong emphasis on environmental impact and measurable performance. By offering not only PFAS destruction but also real-time monitoring and low maintenance requirements, PFASuiki presents itself as a long-term, scalable solution to one of the most urgent and complex water contamination challenges.
PFASuiki is currently in an early revenue stage, offering pilot programs and preparing for commercial rollout. Its compact team operates with a mission-driven mindset, aiming to provide practical tools to industries and municipalities that face regulatory and sustainability pressures. By enabling permanent PFAS removal through a hardware-based, scientifically grounded approach, PFASuiki contributes to the broader transition toward safer water management practices globally.
