Peakhour is an Australian-owned Content Delivery Network (CDN) provider founded in 2017 by Adam Cassar and Daniel B. The company offers an all-inclusive security, performance, and availability service with volume-based billing. Peakhour aims to provide businesses with the same level of website performance, security, and customer experience as large corporations but at a lower cost.

The platform operates as a security layer between a company's applications and its users, utilizing a global edge network for real-time threat detection, API protection, and performance optimization. Its services are designed for a variety of industries, including e-commerce, financial services, government, and SaaS platforms. Key offerings include Web Application & API Protection (WAAP), bot management to prevent credential stuffing and scraping, and DDoS mitigation. The service can be deployed within minutes through a simple DNS change without requiring code modifications.

The co-founders have extensive backgrounds in the tech industry. Adam Cassar, the Head of Security Engineering, has over twenty years of experience, including a 14-year tenure at Netregistry where he became CTO. Daniel B., the Head of Performance Engineering, has over 20 years of experience in software engineering across various sectors. Before Peakhour, both founders co-founded eCompanies.com.au, an online company formation service that was sold to InfoTrack in 2017.
