Onuii's growth trajectory attracted significant investor confidence, culminating in a Series A funding round of approximately 14 billion KRW in November 2021, with participation from KB Investment, Strong Ventures, and others. Operating on a B2C model, the firm generates revenue from tutoring fees, which are comparable to traditional academy costs but bundle live tutoring, on-demand lectures, and digital materials. By focusing on creating an engaging and effective remote learning environment, Onuii aims to alleviate educational disparities, making elite tutoring accessible to students anywhere in Korea.
