About OneNeck IT Services
OneNeck IT Services provides hybrid IT and multi-cloud solutions to mid-market and enterprise companies across the United States. Founded by Chuck Vermillion in 1997, the company initially focused on hosted application management and managed IT hosting services, with a specialization in supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Vermillion, a seasoned entrepreneur with over 28 years of experience in IT consulting, established the company's strategic vision and drove its growth as an industry leader.
The firm's business model is centered on delivering a comprehensive suite of IT outsourcing solutions. This includes application management, cloud and hosting solutions, colocation services, managed services, professional services, and IT hardware. OneNeck serves a diverse client base in sectors such as banking, education, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail. Revenue is generated by providing these tailored IT solutions that allow clients to manage and modernize their IT infrastructure. The company operates multiple top-tier, purpose-built data centers in states like Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Oregon, and Wisconsin, which are designed for mission-critical IT operations.
A significant milestone in the company's history was its acquisition by Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. (TDS) in July 2011 for $95 million. At the time, OneNeck had annual revenues of $37 million. In 2014, TDS Hosted & Managed Services, which had acquired several other IT companies, rebranded all its operations under the OneNeck IT Solutions name to create a unified brand. More recently, in June 2024, US Signal entered into a definitive agreement to acquire OneNeck from TDS, a move intended to expand US Signal's data center footprint to the West Coast and enhance its technical capabilities. This acquisition increased US Signal's data centers from 10 to 16. The company's services are designed to offer flexibility, security, and efficiency, featuring offerings like disaster recovery, network management, and 24/7 end-user support.
