About OKXE

OKXE operates as an e-commerce platform specializing in the motorbike market in Vietnam, a country with one of the highest rates of motorcycle ownership globally. Founded in 2018 by Wooseok Kim, the company was established to address common issues in the used motorbike market, such as a lack of transparency and fraud.

The company's business model is centered around an online-to-offline (O2O) approach, combining a digital platform with physical service stations. The platform utilizes Artificial Intelligence and Big Data to connect buyers and sellers, offering features like price comparisons and verified vehicle information. In May 2022, OKXE expanded its model by opening its first OKXE Motorbike Service Station in Ho Chi Minh City, providing services such as vehicle inspections, appraisals, price consultations, and sales negotiations. This network of managed stores is being expanded in both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Initially focused on used motorbikes, the company has since expanded its offerings to include new vehicles, such as Piaggio and Vespa scooters, and has also partnered with VinFast to distribute electric motorcycles.

OKXE has secured significant funding to fuel its growth. In August 2020, it raised $5.5 million in a Series A round from South Korean investors, including Partners Investment and IMM Investment. The company completed another Series A funding round in July 2025, raising approximately $14.5 million from investors like Kwangju Bank and JB Financial Group to expand its physical outlets and develop new AI-driven services for financing and insurance. The platform reports having 8.2 million app downloads and 1.5 million active users. The company's vision is to become a leading mobility commerce platform for the used two-wheeler market across Southeast Asia.
