Oceanic Constellations Inc. is a Japanese startup that develops and manufactures a network of autonomous surface drone vessels, referred to as "Uncrewed Surface Vessels" (USVs), for comprehensive maritime surveillance and data collection. The company was founded on November 22, 2023, by co-CEOs Misaaki Kobata and Takuma Honda and is headquartered in Kamakura, Kanagawa. Kobata, after studying asteroid exploration robotics at the University of Tokyo, joined Mitsui & Co., where he initiated and led the company's space business before establishing Oceanic Constellations.

The company's core technology, the "satellite group of the sea," aims to address maritime challenges in Japan, the world's sixth-largest maritime nation. This involves deploying a large number of USVs to create a sensor network that provides 24/7 monitoring. The platform is designed to serve clients such as government agencies, coastal regions, maritime industries, and marine researchers. Key applications include disaster prevention through real-time tsunami monitoring from offshore tide level data, security and surveillance to alleviate monitoring burdens, and data acquisition for marine resource infrastructure like offshore wind farms. In January 2024, the company secured a seed funding round of 180 million JPY from its management team and individual investors. More recently, in January 2026, Oceanic Constellations announced a Series B1 funding round of 2 billion JPY. The firm has engaged in projects like the "Kamakura Watatsumi Project," which includes detecting illegal fishing, mapping seabed topography, and preventing maritime accidents.
