A pivotal moment in the company's history occurred in April 2012, when it was acquired by ASG Software Solutions (now ASG Technologies). The acquisition was a strategic move by ASG to strengthen its cloud computing capabilities by integrating NTRglobal's remote support technology into its own suite of enterprise IT software solutions. Following the acquisition, ASG maintained NTRglobal's global operations.
