The brand's creation is the result of two decades of research following the 2004 discovery of Nicotinamide Riboside (NR) by Dr. Charles Brenner, a leading authority on NAD+ metabolism. NR LAB is positioned as the first cosmetics brand to successfully stabilize and incorporate NR into topical skincare solutions.

The company operates in the premium anti-aging segment of the cosmetics market. Its business model centers on the formulation and sale of science-backed skincare products. NR LAB has an exclusive partnership with Chromadex, the original developer of NR and a global leader in NAD+ research.
