Norma Inc., founded in 2011, is a South Korean company specializing in quantum computing and cybersecurity. Initially focused on wireless network and IoT security, the company has expanded its scope to address the security challenges of the quantum computing era. The CEO is Hyunchul Jung (or Jeong Hyeon-cheol), who holds a Ph.D. in computer engineering from Korea University and joined Norma as CEO in 2014, driving its expansion into the quantum field.

The company's business model is centered on providing security solutions and consulting services. Its clientele includes government agencies, large enterprises, IoT manufacturers, and mobile carriers. Norma has developed a range of products, including "IoT Care 2.0," an AI-based integrated security and control solution for IoT devices and networks. This agentless solution provides vulnerability analysis, asset management, and integrated control from a cloud server. Another key offering is "AtEar," a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth security solution. In response to emerging threats from quantum computers, Norma has developed post-quantum cryptography (PQC) solutions like "Q Care Connect," which can be implemented without requiring changes to existing network infrastructure.

Norma is also actively involved in the development of quantum computing hardware and software. The company has launched the "Q Platform," a development environment for quantum applications, and is working on "Qrion," which is set to be South Korea's first industrial quantum computer. Through collaborations with global partners like IQM Quantum Computers and Rigetti Computing, Norma aims to advance domestic quantum technology, develop quantum applications, and provide quantum education programs. The company is also exploring the application of quantum algorithms and quantum machine learning in sectors such as aerospace, finance, and biotechnology.
