Nord Quantique builds error-corrected superconducting quantum computers based on bosonic (GKP grid-state) codes in microwave cavities, embedding error correction at the hardware level to achieve a one-to-one logical-to-physical qubit ratio. The company has demonstrated SPAM errors below 0.1% through autonomous stabilisation, was selected for Stage 2 (Stage B) of DARPA's Quantum Benchmarking Initiative with a $5M award, and was named an inaugural Canadian Quantum Champion (worth up to CA$23M / around $16M USD).
