Newmerix, founded in 2002, specialized in application lifecycle management software for enterprise applications such as Oracle's PeopleSoft, E-Business Suite, and SAP. The company developed a suite of products, including Automate!Test, Automate!Change, and Automate!Control, designed to help IT organizations reduce operating costs by streamlining testing, change management, configuration management, and release management.

The firm's core offerings provided automated testing to lower the expenses associated with verifying application changes and a centralized platform for managing the entire lifecycle of these changes. Newmerix catered to a wide array of sectors, including consulting, banking, manufacturing, and healthcare. The company raised a total of $12 million in funding over two rounds, with its last round being a Series C in January 2007. Investors included Mobius Venture Capital, Next47, and IDG Capital.

In June 2009, Newmerix was acquired by Beacon Application Services, an integrator of Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Applications. Beacon acquired the majority of Newmerix's global assets, including its product suites, and hired former staff to continue product support, consulting, and development. Following the acquisition, Newmerix operates as a subsidiary of Beacon Application Services.
