NEWITY is a financial services company that operates as a facilitator for small business capital, specializing in Small Business Administration (SBA) 7(a) loans and other financing solutions. The company does not underwrite or fund loans directly but functions as a Lender Service Provider, primarily for Northeast Bank, connecting small businesses to capital through a streamlined online platform. NEWITY's business model centers on simplifying the loan application process for entrepreneurs, enabling them to apply for funding and receive custom loan options quickly. The company assists clients with accessing SBA 7(a) loans up to $350,000 and also offers its own NEWITY Growth Term Loans.

Founded in 2020 by Co-CEOs Luke LaHaie and David Cody, the company emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic. The founders were motivated by the difficulties small, underserved businesses faced in accessing emergency relief funding through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Initially, their platform was designed to help businesses navigate the PPP application and forgiveness process. Following the end of the PPP, NEWITY pivoted its technology and team to focus on facilitating SBA 7(a) loans nationwide. Since its inception, the firm has helped over 125,000 businesses access more than $11.8 billion in capital.

Co-founder Luke LaHaie has a background as a serial entrepreneur, a registered Certified Public Accountant, and a CFA® Charterholder, with a master's degree in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. His experience facing capital acquisition challenges firsthand informed the company's mission. Co-founder David Cody brought three decades of experience in asset management and business development from Wall Street, aiming to apply this knowledge to serve Main Street businesses. Their combined expertise has been recognized, with both being named to American Banker's "Top 25 People Who Will Change Banking in 2025" list.

NEWITY's services have expanded beyond loan facilitation to include a marketplace of trusted business service providers in areas like bookkeeping, insurance, and marketing to support business efficiency and profitability.
