About Netris
Netris (formerly XCloud Networks) is a Santa Clara network-automation company that helps AI neocloud and GPU-cluster operators go live faster with vendor-agnostic, hardware-accelerated fabric control. Founded in 2017 by CEO Alex Saroyan, Netris provides a controller and SoftGate software that delivers AWS-style constructs (VPCs, elastic IPs, load balancers) on-prem, manages Ethernet and InfiniBand fabrics, and isolates multi-tenant tenants at the hardware layer so expensive GPUs can be shared safely. The platform uses deterministic algorithms rather than generative AI for switch configuration and integrates with NVIDIA UFM plus switches from NVIDIA, Dell and Arista; it is live at more than 35 GPU clusters (about a million GPUs) including Lightning AI, Foxconn, Visionbay, HPE, TensorWave and Telus. In June 2026 Netris raised a $15 million Series A from Andreessen Horowitz, with a16z partner Guido Appenzeller joining the board, to hire engineering and sales and broaden hardware support.
