Netmorf Inc. was a Boston-based company that developed a mobile application server called "SiteMorfer". This investment fueled an aggressive expansion, with the company reportedly opening around 80 offices worldwide. Despite its initial traction in the emerging mobile commerce space, Netmorf faced challenges in securing a Series C round of funding. The company ultimately ran out of capital and ceased operations on March 16, 2001, subsequently filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
