NeST Group is a diversified global conglomerate that originated in 1990 as a single manufacturing plant in Kochi, India. The group was founded by brothers Javad K Hassan (Chairman) and N. Jehangir (Chairman and Managing Director). N. Jehangir, an engineering dropout, has been a driving force behind the group's expansion into a multi-domain enterprise. His children, Althaf Jehangir and Nazneen Jehangir, are second-generation entrepreneurs within the group, serving as CEOs of the manufacturing and software businesses, respectively.

The conglomerate's flagship company is SFO Technologies, which provides Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) Plus solutions to industries including aerospace and defense, communications, energy, industrial, healthcare, and transportation. These solutions integrate hardware and software design, engineering, manufacturing, and testing services, offering both build-to-print and build-to-spec options. The technology division also includes NeST Digital, which combines the group's IT and software engineering capabilities to deliver digital transformation solutions. This arm focuses on areas like e-mobility, AI/ML tools, and next-generation payment solutions. The group's business model focuses on providing end-to-end solutions under one roof, from R&D and design to vertically integrated manufacturing of components like sheet metal, plastics, cables, and high-level assemblies.

Headquartered in Kochi, NeST Group has a global presence with over 32 locations across the USA, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Japan, and Australia, serving over 60 Fortune 100 customers. The company has grown significantly, with SFO Technologies alone reporting a turnover of Rs 2,500 crore in the 2022-2023 financial year and planning an IPO to fund further expansion. Beyond technology, the group's interests extend to education and training, food and beverages, and real estate development.
